Hate to say it but they are wrong. Camping consists of experiencing the beauty of nature, feeling a new kind of environment, spending quality time with friends and family, losing yourself in some really good adventurous sports like rafting, bungee jumping, flying fox and what not. Remember, life is one. You got to live it to your fullest.
About camp riverside
When you think about camping, Rishikesh is the first and most fantabulous place that will come to anyone’s mind. The mystical environment give you the feeling of inner peace, just by being there and breathing in the city. There is just so much to absorb and imbibe, even a trip of a day can feel like a trip of the lifetime. And then here we bring to you the most happening and adventurous site to camp “Camp Riverside”. It is located in the beauty of Shivpuri which is only 18 Kms/50 minutes from the city of Rishikesh with very facilitative connectivity to the NH-58, Badrinath highway.
Camp Riverside is a camp situated besides a tributary that further merges into Ganges and it offers spacious swiss tents. Each tent equipped with all basic amenities like comfortable bedding, well carpeted floor, wooden chairs, common washroom and a lantern that gives you a pure feel of being away from congested world and. Outside the tent we have restaurant area facilitated with sitting arrangement to enjoy delicious food of ours, sheds to sit out and enjoy the nature. We also have big fields for you to enjoy games and activities like volleyball, cricket, badminton, carom, jungle trekking and the bonfire with the peaceful flow of the river sitting beside it for hours. There is also downstream not so far from the camp which you may not find near any other camps in that locality near to Shivpuri.
Best time to visit
September to Jun is the idle time to visit the camp and enjoy the activities in the peaceful environment of nature.

How to reach
By air: Nearest airport is Dehradun’s “Jolly Grant Airport”. From there you can hire cab, taxi, bus or any commercial transport to reach “Rishikesh” which around 25km away.
By train: Rishikesh has its own railway station (RKSH) which has connectivity from New Delhi, Mumbai, Haridwar and other major stations.
By road: If you prefer self-driving then you can reach the campsite either using GPS or by following National Highway 58 as it is connected to other cities. Our location is there in “Contact section”. If your city is far from Rishikesh, getting on a bus would be a better convenience for you. Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with most of the inter-state bus terminals. Some buses are directly connected to Shivpuri too. You can choose from a regular, deluxe or a luxurious coach.
Once you’ve reached Rishikesh. You can easily hire any of the local transports such as taxi, cab, bus which will drop you at Shivpuri. From the dropping point, our camp is at a walking distance of 500-600m. If you plan to come by your own vehicle, don’t worry at all about the parking. We have a big parking ground available.
